Our story

Ecommerce Group LTD was founded in 1997 by Tony D. Berkman on the Island of St. Maarten. The original ecommerce business was setup in order to sell tourist activities to visitors to the island but within 2 years, it expanded to selling activities for all Caribbean islands and later worldwide.

In 1999, we started developing and operating car rental websites and within a couple of years the business involved a group of about 400 car rental websites that cover rentals in every city around the world. The main car rental website is Rentalcargroup.com but we also offer nearly 400 city and country specific websites that are all offered in 32 languages. Presently, the car rental group of sites is one of the largest independent car rental brokers in the world.

During the early 2000’s the business expanded into hotel rentals under the flag of hotelrentalgroup.com and to this date we operate over 50 sites offering hotel rentals in nearly every country around the world.

In 2003, the golf business started booming and the company got involved by offering tee times bookings in over 40 countries. This business was sold in 2010 but was again setup in under the brand of teetimesforyou.com. We currently over tee times in over 30 countries at discounted prices.

The company got involved in the flower business in 2007. Initially the business was offering only flower deliveries in the Middle East but this has expanded to over 50 countries and thousands of cities worldwide. The main site is internetflorist.biz but we also operate over 300 city specific flower websites.

In 2016, we entered the marine services realm by offering boat registrations to vessel owners. There are many boat owners that are searching for a way to register their boat in a country that offers a fast, reliable and sometimes low tax option to register their boat. Our boat registration business has now become the major supplier of boat registrations, via a group of sites including boatandyachtregistration.com and offers registrations in several countries like Holland, Belgium, United Kingdom, Poland, Malta, Cayman Islands and the BVI.

Just a year later the company started setting up a group of boat charter websites. These sites offers boat charters - with or without crew – in over 50 locations around the world. The main website is international-boat-charters.com and this business is currently expanding fast.
In 2017, we entered into the financial services market. We are now one of the largest suppliers of Delaware incorporations and the company is rapidly expanding to offer company formations in over 20 jurisdictions by year end.
Ecommerce Group LTD. has its main holding in the UAE and Cayman Islands with IT support & Call Center support from its affiliate offices in Estepona, Spain and Lahore, Pakistan.
